Yes there is an aluminum can shortage.
The shortage has to do with the huge demand for canned drinks and the low supply of aluminum supply to make those aluminum cans.
As of now in my state we cannot sell or recycle aluminum cans because of the virus which is stupid because when you sell the aluminum cans or recycle them they get handled with machines and then get melted into new cans.
The melting of the cans would destroy any bacteria or viruses that may be on the can.
I have about 500 lbs of aluminum cans right now but cannot sell them.
So if they need aluminum cans they need to be able to buy the aluminum cans and recycle them.
