The reason your buns get hard is because the moisture in the buns is being sucked out into the air and to keep the buns moist they should be sealed in a bag to prevent moisture from escaping.

You can also soften the buns in the microwave or oven by spraying them with a bit of water and heating them for around 10 seconds in the microwave or around 10 minutes in the oven.

You can microwave buns or any other rolls but it's best to spray them with a bit of water to keep them moist when microwaving them.

You can warm your buns or any bread rolls in the microwave but to keep the buns or bread rolls from drying out you should spray them with a bit of water or place a cup of water in the microwave alongside the buns or bread rolls and microwave the buns or bread rolls for around 10 seconds.

To warm up rolls in the microwave spray the rolls with a bit of water to keep them moist and then place them in the microwave for 10 seconds.

Or even place a cup of water in the microwave with the rolls to help add moisture and keep them from drying out.

You can reheat dinner rolls without drying them out by spraying them with a bit of water and then wrapping them in some foil and then heating them in an oven or toaster oven for 10 minutes.

Or spray the dinner rolls with some water and then wrap them in a paper towel and heat them in the microwave for around 10 seconds.

You can make dinner rolls better by brushing the dinner rolls with some melted butter and even adding some garlic or cheese to the store dinner rolls.

To prepare your dinner rolls place the dinner rolls evenly on a baking pan or in a baking dish and coat with a bit of butter or spray the baking pan with some cooking spray.

Then bake the dinner rolls at 350 F for around 10 minutes to 15 minutes until heated.

You should refrigerate rolls if you want to make the store rolls last longer than 4 days.

Dinner rolls will last between 7 days to 14 days in the refrigerator and 2 to 4 days at room temperature.

If eating the store bought or homemade dinner rolls within 4 days they are best left at room temperature.

If the store bought rolls become hard you can easily soften them back up.

You can easily soften store bought rolls by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and then placing some aluminum foil over them to wrap them to hold the moisture in or run a bit of water over the rolls and wrap them in aluminum foil and heat them in an oven at 300 F for 12 to 15 minutes.

A toaster oven also works well for heating and softening store bought rolls.

If you don't have an oven or toaster oven you can moisten a section of paper towel long enough to cover the store bought rolls and then wrap the store bought roll in the damp paper towel.

Then place the wrapped roll in the microwave for 10 seconds to soften it.

You can soften hard bread quickly by wrapping the bread in a damp towel and placing the bread on a baking sheet with the damp towel.

Then heat it in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes or wrap the bread in a damp towel and place the bread on a microwave safe dish or plate and microwave on high for 10 seconds.

The best place to store bread in the kitchen is in a cool dry area of the kitchen away from any moisture.

You could store the bread in a kitchen cabinet away from moisture or in a deep drawer.

Another option is to store the bread in the microwave when not using it or a bread box.

If eating the bread within a few days you can simply store the bread right on the counter in the open and it will be fine for the few days.

In general, most loaves of bread will last up to a week at room temperature, and 3 to 5 days longer in the fridge—though keep in mind that refrigeration of the bread can make the bread go stale.

Bread that goes stale is still useful for breadcrumbs, croutons, and bread pudding.

Using an airtight container will preserve the moisture in the bread and keep it from drying out too quickly.

However too much moisture can lead to the bread molding.

If part of the bread is moldy you can remove the moldy parts of the bread and eat the rest which is what I do.

A freezer bag is also a decent short-term, room-temperature bread storage solution.

Storing the bread on the countertop in a plastic bag (or well-sealed plastic wrap) will help keep it from going stale, but be warned the crust of the bread will suffer and grow mold due to trapped moisture.
