The fruit that is called the king of fruits is the Plant Durian.

The Plant Durian is a Southeast Asian Plant which has been called the King of Fruits but, like Marmite, it sharply divides opinion between those who love the taste of its custard-like pulp and those revolted by its putrid smell.

The durian is the edible fruit of several tree species belonging to the genus Durio.

There are 30 recognised Durio species, native to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand; at least nine of which produce edible fruit.

Durian trees grow best in a rich, deep, well-drained sandy clay or clay loam (deep alluvial or loamy soil), high in organic matter, pH range of 6 - 7.

Heavy clay soils are not supportive of good durian tree growth and health, as they do not drain well.

In India, generally, they come into bearing 9 to 12 years after planting, but in South India they will not produce fruit until they are 13 to 21 years old.

In Malaya, seedlings will bloom in 7 years; grafted trees in 4 years or earlier.

And mangoes are the 'king of fruits' in India and form an intrinsic part of country's culture.

Major reason for why mango is called as the 'king of the fruits' is its nutrition value.

The fruit which is available in Indian soil since centuries from the year of Ramayana and Mahabharta with a reference of the same in old text.

It is very rich in C Vitamins with its Mangofeciant taste.
