You can freeze cheese balls or even refrigerate them.

Refrigerating the cheese balls is better as freezing the cheese balls can change the texture and taste of the cheese balls.

It's best to refrigerate the cheese balls and then eat them within a week or two of refrigerating them.

Assuming you are using recently purchased ingredients, your cheese ball should last about 2 weeks in the refrigerator!

To freeze: To freeze the cheese ball, wrap it well in plastic wrap (without nuts) and place it in a freezer safe Ziploc bag.

Freeze for up to 1 month.

The cheese balls will be good in the freezer for a month although they will remain safe to eat after a month but the taste and texture may not be as good the longer you leave the frozen cheese balls in the freezer.

Cheese does have a tendency to dry out after having been frozen, but that doesn't mean your frozen cheese ball will be a fail.

It is important to freeze it carefully to avoid freezer burn, and then to allow enough time to let it thaw before serving.
