To microwave bacon place 3 layers of paper towels on a microwave safe plate and then place the bacon strips on the paper towels.
Line a microwave-safe plate with 3 layers of paper towels.
Place bacon on top, without overlapping.
Cover the bacon with another 2 layers of paper towels. Microwave the bacon on high for 4 to 6 minutes for crispy bacon.
Bacon can be microwaved as I do it all the time.
Microwaving bacon takes around 30 seconds to a minute depending on the microwave.
Some microwaves are higher in power and will cook the bacon faster than another microwave would so you have to adjust the time to cook the bacon for your microwave.
However if you like your bacon crispy then it would take around 4 to 6 minutes.
