When microwaving a Chimichanga it takes around 1 minute and 20 seconds.
What I do first to microwave my frozen Chimichangas is I place the frozen Chimichanga in the microwave on defrost for 3 minutes.
Then I put the microwave on cook and cook the chimichanga for 1 minute and 20 seconds.
Of course microwave ovens can vary on the power and cooking times.
But cook it for 1 minute and 20 seconds if thawed and if it needs cooked longer cook for another 30 seconds at a time until it's cooked all the way.
Chimichangas are cooked but they just need heated up in the microwave or oven etc.
Thawing the frozen Chimichangas out first is best as it cooks more evenly than it would if frozen.
Chimichangas can be deep fried, microwaved, or heated in the oven or even a toaster oven.
