Vegans cannot eat cockles or oysters as they are a type of animal.

A cockle is an edible, marine bivalve mollusc.

Although many small edible bivalves are loosely called cockles, true cockles are species in the family Cardiidae.

Cockles typically burrow using the foot, and feed by filtering plankton from the surrounding water.

Honey is also not Vegan.

Honey is derived from bees so honey is not Vegan.

The reason vegans cannot eat honey is because the honey is produced from the labor of bees.

Honey-avoiding vegans believe that exploiting the labor of bees and then harvesting their energy source is immoral — and they point out that large-scale beekeeping operations can harm or kill bees.

Vegans can eat avocados since avocados are not an animal and are a fruit.

Vegans cannot eat eggs but Vegetarians can eat eggs.

Vegetarians do not eat fish, meat or poultry, but they do eat eggs and dairy.

Vegans also follow the no-meat rule, but also exclude animal products or by-products such as eggs, dairy and honey.

Both vegetarians and vegans choose not to eat meat and fish.

However, veganism is a stricter form of vegetarianism that prohibits the consumption or use of any products that come from animals, including dairy, eggs, honey, leather goods, wool, and silk.

In the past, eggs have had a bad reputation, as their yolks contain a lot of dietary cholesterol.

Most vegans do tend to live longer when compared to meat eaters.

Vegans live on average of around 6 to 9 years longer than meat eaters but it's not really because the vegan is not eating meat.

Most vegans who eat strictly vegan foods are usually more health conscious and get more exercise and work to keep their bodies healthy.

Even those people who eat meat as well as vegetables can still live a good long life as long as you stay healthy and active.

Get plenty of exercise lose weight if you're overweight, eat other healthy foods, drink water etc and you should live just as long as vegans even when you eat meat.

Vegans will sometimes live between 6 years to 9 years longer than a meat eater.

However being a vegan doesn't mean you'll always live longer than a meat eater.
