When drinking water before sleeping you should drink at least 6 ounces to 8 ounces of water about an hour before sleeping.

You should also drink at least 16 ounces or more of water per day to help stay hydrated and to keep your kidneys healthy as well.

Drinking water too close to bed can be bad for your heart as the water cannot be processed fast enough by your kidneys and it then dilutes the sodium levels in your blood which can also lead to a condition known as hyponatremia.

Hyponatremia occurs when the concentration of sodium in your blood is abnormally low.

Sodium is an electrolyte, and it helps regulate the amount of water that's in and around your cells.

Drinking water before bed has a number of benefits, but drinking too close to bedtime can interrupt your sleep cycle and negatively impact heart health.

You must drink enough water throughout the day to avoid dehydration and prevent excess water intake at night. One sign of dehydration is dark urine.

Drinking water before bed is not bad as long as you don't drink the water too close to bedtime.

You should drink water before bed at least an hour before bed as it can be healthy for your heart and health.

Make sure to drink plenty of water through the day as well to stay hydrated.

It is OK to drink water at bedtime but just don't drink the water too close to bedtime.

Drinking water before bed has a number of benefits, but drinking too close to bedtime can interrupt your sleep cycle and negatively impact heart health.

You must drink enough water throughout the day to avoid dehydration and prevent excess water intake at night.

Although of course if you're thirsty through the night you should drink some water to stay hydrated.

Drinking water before bed is good for your heart.

Being dehydrated can lead to high blood pressure and cause heart disease and other heart health issues.

So by drinking water before bed and during the day your blood pressure stays down and your blood stays thin like it should be.

Being dehydrated also thickens the blood which leads to blood clots which is also another reason for heart attacks and so by drinking water you can help prevent a heart attack.

Drinking water does calm your heart and can help prevent heart disease and heart failure.

Good hydration can prevent or slow down the changes in the heart that lead to the condition.

Drinking eight glasses a water a day throughout your life could reduce the risk of heart failure 25 years later, according to new research.

Drinking less water and not staying hydrated can cause a heart attack.

When you're dehydrated the dehydration thickens your blood and makes your blood vessel walls constrict which can cause hypertension, or high blood pressure, and strain your heart.

Overtime this leads to a buildup of plaque in the arteries.

Blockage of the arteries can cause a heart attack.

To prevent a heart attack at night drink a glass of water before bed and also take an aspirin before bed and daily.

Taking an aspirin daily can help keep your blood from clotting and prevent a heart attack and drinking water can also calm your heart and keep you from having a heart attack.

Also exercise and eat healthy to keep your heart healthy.

Usually, a blood clot causes a heart attack by keeping blood from flowing through one of your coronary arteries.

Less often, a coronary artery spasm can cut off your blood flow.

Heart attacks can happen when you're asleep or awake.

During most heart attacks your body does warn you of the impending heart attack.

However not all heart attacks will show signs and your body does not always warn you of an oncoming heart attack.

But when your body does warn you have a heart attack you will usually experience chest pain, tightening of the chest, numbness in your arm, heart palpitations, shortness of breath.

Other signs and symptoms of a heart attack are tightness or pain in the chest, neck, back, or arms, as well as fatigue, lightheadedness, abnormal heartbeat, and anxiety, pain between shoulder blades, arm, chest, jaw, left arm, or upper abdomen, dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness, clammy skin, cold sweat, or sweating, heartburn, indigestion and even vomiting.

During a heart attack or before a heart attack Women are more likely to have atypical symptoms than men.

Yes Tachycardia can cause a heart attack if it's left untreated.

However not all people who experience Tachycardia have a heart attack but it can lead to it so it's best to get checked out.

Tachycardia is when your heart beats 100 times per minute or faster and does not slow down.

Stress, Anxiety, Exercise, Exerting yourself etc can all cause Tachycardia which is a fast heart rate.

If your heart does not slow down when it's beating too fast get to the emergency room just to be safe because you can have a heart attack at any age.

I've known some 20 year olds and 30 year olds who have had heart attacks and nearly died so always get checked out.

Yes a heart rate of 120 beats per minute can be dangerous especially if you haven't been exercising and or the heart rate does not slow down within 5 to 20 minutes of resting.

A heart rate of 100 or more is considered not good and is called Tachycardia and you should see a doctor or go to urgent care or the emergency room to get checked out.

A bad heart rate is when your heart is beating faster than 100 beats per minute.

If your heart is beating less than 100 beats per minute then it's usually okay but if your heart continues beating as fast as 100 beats per minute or more than you may be experiencing a health problem such as Tachycardia which is when your heart beats too fast.

It's normal for your heart to beat rapidly after exercise, when being stressed out or suffering from anxiety or even when you're exerting yourself working.

A heart beat of around 100 beats per minute is usually normal but your heart should not beat more than 100 times per minute.

If you've rested and your heart is beating more than 100 times per minute and doesn't slow down then go to the ER to get checked out.

You could be having heart palpitations or your heart could be telling you that you may be having a heart attack.

Not all heart attacks will cause pain and there's a thing such as as silent heart attack.

So it's best to get checked out just in case.

Some people have heart beats of around 160 beats per minute or less and go to the ER.

Remember that your heart should not continue to beat more than 100 times per minute after you're resting.

Heart Palpitations are rarely serious enough to need to visit the ER.

Most heart palpitations are nothing to worry about however they can seem scary.

if the heart palpitations do not go away within 24 to 48 hours or the heart palpitations continue or get worse then you should go to the ER for the heart palpitations.

I get some heart palpitations myself about twice per month and I did go to the ER for them because I was unsure about them the first time it happened.

But nothing was wrong with me and they said the heart palpitations were nothing to worry about until I had any chest pain, tightness, arm numbness etc.

Heart Palpitations are where you have a fast-beating, fluttering or pounding heart which can be caused by stress, anxiety, nervousness, medication and exercise.

Some medical conditions may cause heart palpitations but the good news is most heart palpitations are not serious or life threatening.

Usually resting and relaxing will stop the heart palpitations.

You should drink at least 4 bottles of water per day to stay healthy and hydrated.

However it's also good to drink 8 bottles of water per day but as long as you're drinking other healthy drinks such as tea, juice etc then drinking 4 bottles of water per day is enough.

The organs that are affected by dehydration are the heart, skin, kidneys, muscles and brain.

Dehydration that is not treated can be deadly if it gets severe enough so it's important to seek medical attention when you're severely dehydrated and also drink plenty of water and other hydrating liquids through the day to prevent dehydration.

You can get hydrated quickly by drinking water, juice, tea or by eating watermelon.

You should always drink water and other hydrating drinks before you get thirsty to prevent dehydration.

In severe cases of dehydration you will need to seek medical attention but less severe cases of dehydration can most often be fixed by drinking plenty of water and hydrating fluids.

Drinks that are good for dehydration are water, juice, tea, green tea, coffee, pear juice, apple juice, carrot juice and other fruit and vegetable juices.

Water is the best drink for dehydration and drinking water through the day before you get thirsty can help to prevent dehydration.

The more water you drink the healthier you will be so you should try drinking 4 to 5 cups of water per day or at least a few glasses of water per day to also help keep your kidneys healthy.

It's best to not drink water soon after you eat as the water dilutes the digestive juices which slows down the digestion of the food.

After drinking water you should pee within 1 hour to 2 hours although some people may pee after 30 minutes.

If you're sweating then you may pee less as you lose the fluid through your sweat.

After drinking water it usually takes 1 hour to 2 hours to pee.

If you're sweating more then it may take longer to pee after drinking water as you lose some of the water through sweat which means less water turns into pee so you pee less.

When your pee is clear like water it's a sign that you're over hydrated and drinking too much water or other liquids.

It's good to be properly hydrated but drinking too much water can be unhealthy as well.

Usually though the pee that is clear like water is not a cause for concern and your pee should return to normal once you stop drinking as much water.

Clear pee is good as it's a sign that your kidneys are healthy, your urinary tract is healthy and a sign that you're hydrated.

However if your urine becomes too clear it can be a sign that you're drinking too much water.

With diabetes you may pee more than 8 or 9 times per day.

Most people pee between 4 to 7 times per day but it can be normal to pee more than that even without health issues.

One of the most common early signs of diabetes is a need to pee more often during the day.

But it can also happen at night.

When there's too much sugar in your blood, which happens if you have diabetes, your kidneys have to work harder to get rid of it.

This forces them to make more urine.

Holding your pee for an hour should not cause any issue other than being painful.

However if you hold your pee longer than an hour or hold your pee too long it can weaken your bladder and also cause bladder infections and Urinary Tract Infections.

When you feel like you have to pee after you already peed and you have no pain you most often have an Overactive Bladder.

OAB, causes a frequent and sudden urge to urinate that may be difficult to control.

You may feel like you need to pass urine many times during the day and night, and may also experience unintentional loss of urine (urgency incontinence).

When you feel like you have to pee and only have a little pee come out it means you either have a bladder infection, Urinary Tract Infection, or even an enlarged prostate.

Overactive bladder (OAB) is a “gotta go now” feeling.

You have the urge to pee even though your bladder isn't full.

OAB can lead to a condition called urinary incontinence where you leak urine.

The longest someone has gone without peeing is 26 hours.

After that time the person would release the urine even when they tried to hold back.

Your bladder can hold 24 ounces of urine before it explodes if you don't release the urine.

However your bladder would naturally release the urine in the bladder after 10 hours or so before the bladder exploded.

Some people can go up to 10 hours without urinating.

However if you haven't urinated within 8 to 10 hours then you may be dehydrated.

Oliguria is a medical term for low urine output (how much you pee).

In the case of an adult, this means less than 400 milliliters (mL) to 500 mL (around two cups) of urine per 24 hours.

The numbers depend on weight in terms of children and infants.

Peeing 20 times a day can be normal for some people and for others peeing 20 times or more per day could be an indication of a health issue that should be checked out.

For most people, the normal number of times to urinate per day is between 6 – 7 in a 24 hour period.

Between 4 and 10 times a day can also be normal if that person is healthy and happy with the number of times they visit the toilet.

Regularly urinating more than seven times per day may be normal for some people and may not be a sign of a health problem.

It is normal to pee every 30 minutes.

Some people pee more often than others which is normal and healthy although some people who pee too much may have an overactive bladder.

However the more you drink the more you'll need to pee.

You may need to pee every 30 minutes to an hour or you may not need to pee until after every 2 to 3 hours.

If you drink things such as caffeinated coffee then you may need to pee every 10 to 20 minutes which is normal.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia is the most common cause of urinary retention.

Other common causes of urinary retention include prostatitis, cystitis, urethritis, and vulvovaginitis; receiving medications in the anticholinergic and alpha-adrenergic agonist classes; and cortical, spinal, or peripheral nerve lesions.

Urinary retention is a condition in which you cannot empty all the urine from your bladder.

Urinary retention can be acute a sudden inability to urinate, or chronic a gradual inability to completely empty the bladder of urine.

As you get older it's harder to pee because when you get older your elastic tissue becomes stiffer and the bladder becomes less stretchy.
