Out of date dairy cream is safe to consume for around 2 weeks after expiration date.

The dairy creams expiration date does not mea the cream is actually bad but it's an indicator as to how long it stays fresh.

When the dairy cream has been kept refrigerated it's safe to consume or use for around 2 weeks past expiration date.

Heavy cream, also known as Heavy Whipping Cream, comes with an expiry date.

Usually, whipping cream can be consumed even one week after the expiry date.

But consuming it weeks and months after the date of expiry can cause food poisoning or stomach upsets.

And it's best you avoid doing that.

According to the USDA, heavy cream can be stored in the refrigerator (opened or unopened) for up to a month.

Discard any cream with mold or an off odor.

When in doubt, throw it out. Ultra-pasteurized cream may have a much longer expiration date.

Dairy Cream can last from 1-3 weeks beyond its "best by" date, depending on the type, how it is cared for and how it will be used.

The shelf life of dairy cream is influenced by a variety of factors, such as the type of cream, the processing method, packaging date, its exposure to heat, and how the it is stored.

If the cream smells bad or has a bad taste to it then throw it out or if the cream also has mold in it then it's bad and should be thrown out.
