Can you microwave Styrofoam cups?

Is it safe to put Styrofoam cups into a microwave or will the melt?

What about Styrofoam food containers can you reheat food in a microwave that is in Styrofoam food containers?

I've put Styrofoam cups in the microwave to make hot chocolate before and never had a problem with them melting but just leave it in the microwave long enough to get the water hot or your drink hot and keep an eye on the microwave and your cup.
