If your PC is not turning on for the first time it could be a bad motherboard, bad ram, or bad power supply or inadequate power supply.

Check to make sure the ram is fully seated and also make sure the power supply connectors are firmly in place as well.

And check to make sure the power supply is plugged in properly.

A bad, failing, or inadequate power supply often causes this issue.

If the hard drive is not getting enough power during the first time the computer starts, it cannot spin the hard drive platters fast enough to start the computer.

If the computer powers up fine when plugged in, replace the main battery.

When a PC or computer does not turn on the cause can be a bad power supply, no power supply coming into the computer, loose power cord, bad motherboard etc.

If your computer isn't turning on at all—no fans are running, no lights are blinking, and nothing appears on screen then you probably have a power issue.

Unplug your computer and plug it directly into a wall outlet you know is working, rather than a power strip or battery backup that may be failing.

When a computer won't turn on the first thing or things you should check is to make sure the computer has power to it.

If it's a laptop make sure the battery is charged up or at least has some power in it if you're plugging the laptop in.

If it's a desktop make sure the outlet is supplying power and make sure the cord is plugged in to the computer firm enough.

Also make sure the cord is not damaged.

If the computer still does not turn on then it could be a bad power supply or other issue.

Make sure any surge protector or power strip is correctly plugged into the outlet, and that the power switch is on.

Plug in other devices to the power strip and confirm they are operating properly. Double-check that your PC's power supply on/off switch is on.

If you have a desktop computer and plan on trying to repair it yourself, open the computer and verify the power connections.

You can do so by disconnecting the main power cable and reconnecting it to make sure it has not become loose.

Also, verify the power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.

Common boot up issues are caused by the following: software that was installed incorrectly, driver corruption, an update that failed, abrupt power outage and the system did not shut down properly.

Let's not forget registry corruption or virus' / malware infections that can completely mess up a computer's boot sequence.

In this situation, you might download all the new drivers and I was using Sony laptop drivers which is a really effective solution in order to download these drivers really fast. Such a solution provides only the best and fresh drivers, and saves time on the further download.

Maybe you need to install new drivers?

In this case you can disable auto-run of all unnecessary programs. Every time you start your computer, it loads a lot of applications running in the background that you may not need. I also suggest to use official software like Baidu PC Faster free official version for Windows which is a super tool. I read a lot of positive reviews on Reddit and suggest to give a try to this software.
