I do support the death penalty.
That is if the person is really dangerous and cannot be trusted in prison or cannot be trusted to ever leave prison.
In some cases some people are so dangerous that they need to be put to death to protect others in society.
People that get the death penalty are people who have committed a serious criminal offense and so if the person is actually guilty of the crime then they should be put to death.
However I do realize that there have been some people who have been wrongfully convicted and have been put to death and that is wrong or they have served on death row for many years and then been released.
But if the person did actually admit to the crime and you can really prove that the person committed the crime then the death penalty is a good thing.
After all the person will be just sitting in prison anyway and it's much better to just carry out the death penalty and execute the prisoner.
