If you eat moldy food and it makes you sick it will usually take a few hours to a day before you get sick from the moldy food.
However not all moldy food is dangerous as some mold on food is actually a medicine and not harmful because mold can be medicine such as penicillin.
But it's still not good to eat moldy food as it will taste bad and make you sick to your stomach.
It's possible that the moldy food could contain other bacteria as well that could make you sick and cause food poisoning.
So if you have moldy food it's best to throw it out and not risk your health.
Moldy food also tastes gross and is not very appetizing.
But if you accidentally ate a bit of moldy food then there's nothing to really worry about as you should not get sick and if you do then you may only be sick for a day at most with a stomach ache, abdominal cramps and possibly diarrhea.
