Minced meat is fully cooked when it's cooked to brown color and has no pink color to it.

It takes around 2 to 5 minutes to fully cook mince meat such as mince ground beef.

The same thing is true for cooking ground beef as ground beef cooks pretty fast and takes around 5 minutes to cook ground beef to fully done.

If the ground beef is cooked it will be brown inside and no longer pink.

The best way to cook mince meat is to use some cooking oil such as olive oil in a skillet and heat the oil up and then add the mince meat to the cooking oil once it gets hot.

To cook mince meat heat the oil in a sauté pan or large frying pan and then add some onion and carrots and cook over a medium heat for about 5 mins,

Be sure to stir the vegetables occasionally, until the vegetables have started to soften.

Then add the beef to the pan and cook for about 5-10 mins, stirring to break up the meat, until it browns.

If you just want to mince meat then just add the meat and not the other ingredients if you don't want the other ingredients.

To fry mince properly you do need some oil such as olive oil.

When you want to fry mince you start by adding a very small amount of cooking oil and then allow it to heat up but not so much that it smokes.

Then after the cooking oil heats up you add the mince in small amounts.

Just don't cover the surface of the pan completely.

And adding too much meat will reduce the temperature of the pan and the meat will not brown.

Also If the meat or the oil is beginning to scorch, reduce the heat.

You could use butter to fry mince if you have no cooking oil but I recommend using some olive oil to fry the mince as it makes for a better mince.

I have used butter when I had no cooking oil and it turned out good or you could use bacon grease as well.
