Honey is much healthier for you than maple syrup.

Although both honey and maple syrup are healthy for you the honey contains less fat, more carbohydrates, protein and calories than the maple syrup and maple syrup contains more fats than honey.

Maple syrup is good quality maple syrup when the maple syrup is 100 percent pure maple syrup.

Make sure the high quality or good quality maple syrup has no artificial ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup and if it's pure maple syrup the maple syrup bottle will say it's 100 percent maple syrup or be advertised as pure maple syrup on the bottle.

The health benefits of pure maple syrup are the pure maple syrup can protect against cancer, lower your risk of heart disease, lower blood sugar, lower blood pressure, boost your immune system, fights inflammatory disease, may prevent some cancers.
