You can cook eggs in a toaster oven.
Just crack the eggs and put them in the baking sheet of the toaster oven after applying a little butter or cooking oil to prevent the eggs from sticking.
Or spray the baking sheet with some PAM spray and the eggs will slide right off the baking sheet of the toaster oven.
Then turn the toaster oven on for 10 minutes but keep an eye on the eggs so they don't overcook.
10 minutes of cooking time is usually about the time it takes to cook eggs in a toaster oven.
Also you can use aluminum foil in a toaster oven.
You can put food in aluminum foil in a toaster oven to help the food cook more evenly and hold the heat in the food while cooking it.
You can also lay aluminum foil in the baking sheet or rack of the toaster oven to cook food in or catch any drips of oil.
I bake bacon in my toaster oven and lay some aluminum foil on the rack to catch the bacon grease to prevent it from dripping inside the toaster oven.
A toaster oven is cheaper to use than a regular full size oven.
The toaster oven uses only 1500 watts at most while a full sized electric oven can use as much as 4000 to 5000 watts of electricity per hour.
So if you only need to bake or cook something small then use of a toaster oven would be much cheaper than turning on the full sized electric oven.
However if you do have a natural gas or propane stove and oven then the full size oven would be cheaper to use because propane and natural gas are cheaper fuels than electricity.
I use my electric toaster oven for cooking small foods and small servings but for larger servings of food then the full sized oven is much more efficient, faster and cheaper.
You can cook chicken, pot pies, small pies, cookies etc in the toaster oven and it works fine when you only need to cook a small amount.
Larger amounts of food are best cooked in the full sized oven.
