In a half a cup of ingredients there are 8 tablespoons in the half cup.

In a full cup there are 16 tablespoons so to get 1/2 a cup of the same ingredients you would only need 8 tablespoons to equal half a cup.

It takes 48 teaspoons to make 1 cup.

It takes 16 tablespoons to make 1 cup.

In baking terms a cup cup is a cooking measure of volume, commonly associated with cooking and serving sizes.

The cup size in baking terms is traditionally equal to half a liquid pint in US customary units, or an amount between 200 ml and 250 ml (1⁄5 and 1⁄4 of a litre) in the metric system, which may vary due to location.

In baking measurements for ingredients it takes 16 tablespoons to equal a baking size cup of ingredients.

So for example if you don't have a measuring cup and need to measure a cup of flour for baking then you could take a regular cup and scoop out 16 tablespoons of the flour into that cup.

Then when you have put 16 tablespoons of flour into the cup you would have the correct amount of flour which would equal the 1 cup of flour you would need for your baked goods.

For half a cup you would need 8 tablespoons of the flour since half of 16 is 8.

If you need 2 cups of flour you would need 32 tablespoons of flour to equal the 2 cups of flour.
