Most Salami is made using Pork but some Salami may be made of both pork and beef.

When it comes to traditional salami, with its typical marbled appearance that Salami is made from beef or pork (sometimes specifically veal).

Beef is usual in halal and kosher salami, which never include pork for religious reasons.

Some makers of Salami also use other meats, including venison and poultry (mostly turkey).

The Salami that you buy in stores should say whether it has beef or pork in it or just beef or pork.

Most Salami I buy is made using a mixture of both beef and pork.

I like the Salami made with both beef and pork as I find it tastes much better than Salami made with just pork.

There are also some Salami made from just beef and some Salami made entirely from pork.

Pork is usually used in Italian style salamis, and sausage preps because it is more fatty and more tasty and beef is used mostly in Kosher Salami.
