When you burn  your chili in the instant pot it's because it was overcooked and the pot has gotten too hot.

When you want to cook chili in the instant pot it's best to use the bean and chili setting which allows you to easily cook the beans and chili or just chili without burning it.

The Bean and Chili setting button on the instant pot helps the beans and chili cook faster and better without burning it.

Whenever you want to cook beans or beans and chili then you should always use the bean and chili setting on the instant pot to make the bean and chili turn out good.

The way the bean and chili setting on the instant pot works is when you use the “Bean / Chili” button,

The instant pot will default to a High Pressure for 30 minutes.

But you can also adjust for “More” to High Pressure for 40 minutes or “Less” for High Pressure for 25 minutes.

The bean and chili setting also allows you to cook the beans and chili to the desired doneness of the beans and chili.
