Yes you can use pickling salt for cooking and baking.
Although pickling salt is most commonly used for canning and pickling it can also be used in baking and cooking recipes.
The pickling salt also dissolves easily in water which makes the pickling salt great for brine.
You can also use pickling salt for seasoning French fries and popcorn, thanks to the fine grain, and pickling salt is also a good substitute for table salt.
So if you have not table salt and need salt in a recipe you can use pickling salt as a substitute for the regular table salt.
I prefer using pickling salt in most recipes instead of table salt as I find it makes it taste much better.
