Fried green tomatoes are healthy in moderation as the green tomatoes whether fried or eaten raw contain potassium, vitamin, minerals and nutrients.

Fried Green Tomatoes are a good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and also iron, calcium, dietary fiber, magnesium.

Fried green tomatoes have a slightly sour taste to them unlike the fresh red tomatoes which are more tasty and juicy.

The fried green tomatoes are not really sour tasting but they do taste a bit sour but are also delicious and you can flavor the fried green tomatoes by adding some mayonnaise, gravy, nacho cheese or other spices to the fried green tomatoes.

Some good foods that go well with fried green tomatoes are Eggs Benedict, Mac N Cheese, BLT, Bacon Lettuce Tomato Burger, Gravy and Cheese Grits, Fried Chicken, Fried Catfish and Crab Cakes.

I love fried green tomatoes and love eating bacon with my fired green tomatoes as well as some gravy.

I like to top my fried green tomatoes with some gravy or even some nacho cheese.

But even just fried green tomatoes are great tasting alone.

Having some enchiladas, tacos or refried beans is also good with fried green tomatoes.

Just about anything you can think of goes well with fried green tomatoes.

I also recommend making a fried green tomato sandwich with some mayonnaise on the fried green tomatoes which makes for a fried green tomato sandwich.
