New England Clam Chowder is usually served white while Rhode Island Clam Chowder is served red in color.

If you make New England Clam Chowder it will turn out white and if you make Rhode Island Clam Chowder it should turn out red in color.

Also you can eat clams raw or cooked and they are very healthy just like clam chowder can be very healthy in moderation.

Clams have a salty yet fishy taste to them and to me the clams sorta taste like any other fish that I've eaten but just more salty in taste.

Clams can be eaten raw or cooked and they are healthy and provide protein and nutrients to you so your health will improve when you do eat some clams.

If you like fish then you will likely like clams as well.

Yes clam are a seafood and type of shellfish.

If you have a seafood or shellfish allergy then you should avoid clams as they are shellfish and can cause an allergic reaction if you are indeed allergic to shellfish.

Any food that comes from the sea or ocean are considered shellfish or seafood.

All parts of the clam are edible and you can eat the clam foot if you want too.

Not everyone eats the clam foot but most people do also eat the clam foot.

The clams heart, vein and foot or feet also known as diggers are all edible parts of the clam.

It's up to you if you want to actually eat the clam foot or not.

I personally do not like the clam foot myself but my husband eats the clam foot as well as the heart and vein but me I only eat the other parts of the clam meat.

Everyone likes different things and so it's okay if you decide you don't like the clam foot or other parts of the clam.

My husband enjoys all parts of the clam so he gets the clam foot and other organs from my clams as well.
