Green Beans Pair well with garlic, shallots or even mashed potatoes.

I like to eat green beans along with some mashed potatoes with some garlic added to the mashed potatoes.

I also like to eat mashed potatoes alone with garlic mixed in with the mashed potatoes and sometimes some Jalapenos as well.

Also deep fried green beans are good to eat by themselves or with mashed potatoes or even cheese.

Another thing I like to do is mix some green beans with some mashed potatoes and then top the mashed potatoes and green beans with some of that nacho cheese that comes in a can.

It makes for a very delicious meal.

Aside from the above a few other things that do pair well with green beans are things such as lemon, potatoes, red peppers, onion, shallot, garlic, mushrooms, fennel, tomatoes, carrots, and squash. Herbs & Spices: lemon zest, basil, salt, pepper, ginger, tarragon, mustard, dill, mint, chilli pepper, and parsley.

Green beans can be eaten cold or heated as there's no need to cook them.

Green beans are safe to eat raw or cooked.

Raw green beans are actually healthier for you than cooked or heated green beans.

When you eat raw green beans or cold green beans that are not cooked you get more of the health benefits because of the nutrients that remain in the cold green beans.

When you heat up or cook green beans you kill off some of the nutrients in the green beans.

However even cooked or heated green beans are healthy and some of the nutrients remain in the green beans.

I've eaten cold green beans before right out of the can but I prefer to heat the green beans up first as they are more enjoyable when heated
