Slow cookers do not use a lot of electricity.

The average slow cooker uses around 150 watts to 200 watts of electricity on the high setting to cook the food.

The wattage of your slow cooker depends on the size of the slow cooker but the slow cooker is a very energy efficient cooking appliance.

When compared to an electric stove or an electric hot plate the slow cooker uses way less electricity because an electric hot plate uses around 1000 watts of electricity for cooking and an electric stove uses around 1,500 watts of electricity.

An electric oven can use as much as 3,000 to 5,000 watts of electricity to cook.

Electric slow cookers use very little electricity and make cooking so easy and convenient as you can put your food into the slow cooker and go to bed or leave the house and come back or wake up and you meal is cooked and ready to eat.
