My computer is not letting me highlight and copy and paste any text?

Every time I try and highlight some text in my browser and then try and copy it to paste it somewhere else the it keeps un highlighting the text and won't let me copy the text?

This happens sometimes with my computer as well and a simple restart of the computer clears out the processes and fixes the copy paste problem.
