Bread can be frozen and kept frozen for up to 3 months before it goes bad.

Before you freeze bread you should flash freeze the slices of bread first so that they do not become soggy in the freezer.

When you flash freeze the bread slices first the bread will not go stale as quick or become soggy when thawed out.

Frozen bread will not taste as good or as fresh as fresh non frozen bread but if you have bread that you want to keep longer than a few weeks or so you can and should freeze it.

Refrigerating bread can also work but bread typically goes stale much quicker in the refrigerator so it's best to freeze the bread if not used within a few weeks.

To flash freeze your bread place the bread onto a baking sheet and then place the baking sheet into your freezer for at least 2 hours.

Once the bread loaf or slices are frozen, store in a freezer bag.

Be sure to also squeeze as much air out of the freezer bag as possible, and double-bag if possible.

Then when you're ready to eat your bread you can thaw the frozen bread out overnight in the fridge.
