The coronavirus disease can only survive on vegetables and fruits for up to 24 hours and sometimes less.
Vegetables and fruits that you buy in stores travel for longer than 24 hours before they get to the store in most places.
And by the time the vegetables have traveled and then reached the store and have been stocked on the shelf the virus has likely died on the vegetables or fruit.
Also the store employees who stock the shelves with the vegetables are usually wearing gloves so that they do not pass the coronavirus disease and virus onto the vegetables.
However if you're worried you can was the vegetables off with hydrogen peroxide or apple cider vinegar or even plain white vinegar.
The hydrogen peroxide, apple cider vinegar or even just plain vinegar can disinfect and clean the vegetables and fruit and kill the coronavirus disease off of the vegetables.
