Hotdogs can be bad for you if you eat too much hotdogs.
Hotdogs are made of processed meats which include, chicken, beef and other scraps of leftover meat and they are then mixed together to make the cheaper hotdogs.
Hotdogs do not really contain any real nutritious value to them but they are okay in moderation.
Real hotdogs that use beef is more healthy for you than the cheaper hotdogs that are made of different meats that are put together.
Also hotdogs do expire.
Hotdogs will usually remain safe to eat when stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks in the refrigerator the hotdogs can start spoiling and going bad and could make you sick if you try to eat them.
If you want to store hotdogs longer than 2 weeks you should freeze the hotdogs.
When frozen the hotdogs will last for up to 1 year but they start getting less fresh after 6 months.
So it's best to eat the hotdogs within 6 months of freezing them for the best taste and quality.
I buy hotdogs on sale and will freeze the extra hotdogs and they have lasted up to a year.
I use the frozen hotdogs in Chili and other foods and also eat the hotdogs as normal.
