When storing berries it's best to keep the berries stored in the same container you bought them in.
If you bought the berries you should store them in the container they came in and keep them in the refrigerator until ready to eat or use.
If you have fresh berries you should keep them refrigerated as well until ready to use and also do not wash the berries until ready to eat or use them because washing berries too soon can cause the berries to go bad and mold too soon.
When storing berries it's best to put a damp paper towel or damp cloth over the berries to help keep them from drying out.
I always store my berries in the refrigerator if I'm gonna eat them or use them within 5 days but if I'm planning on keeping the berries longer I place the berries into the freezer in their original container.
When frozen the berries keep for up to a year and I use them for baked goods such as making pies.
