Yes chorizo is a blood sausage.

The chorizo sausage is a cooked pork blood sausage which is encased in pork intestine casing.

Chorizo is similar to Linguica sausage bu they are different.

The linguica is not made from tongue although the name Lingua means tongue it contains no part of the tongue and is not made from tongue.

The linguica is made from smoked pork sausage that is seasoned primarily with lots of garlic and paprika.

Yes linguica can be frozen for up to 9 months or you can refrigerate the linguica for after 4 days.

linguica is smoked and cooked but linguica is only partially cooked.

When you eat or serve linguica the linguica still needs cooked further before eating it or serving it.

Don't eat the linguica without further cooking it.

Since the linguica is partially cooked it only needs a short amount of time to cook the linguica.

The linguica is a Portuguese sausage that is made from pork that is narrower and milder than Chouriço and it comes in either in long rope form, loaf form or as small sausages (the long rope is traditional.)

Cooking the linguica takes between 8 to 10 minutes in the skillet while cooking the linguica in the oven takes around 25 to 30 minutes.
