If you happen to swallow gum the gum will sit in your stomach for around 1 to 2 days at most.

The gum although it cannot be digested by your stomach acid will eventually move out of your stomach and be pooped out eventually.

Contrary to popular belief the gum when swallowed does not stay in your stomach for 7 years or longer.

The gum eventually leaves your stomach within a day or 2 and then goes through your intestines where it is then pooped out.

You might not notice the gum come out in your poop but it does eventually.

Swallowing gum is not recommended but it's not gonna harm your health or yourself if you do swallow a piece of gum.

It will eventually leave your stomach within a day or so.

The gum does not stay in your stomach longer than a few days and certainly not for 7 years or longer.
