Coffee can actually dehydrate your body more than it hydrates.

Coffee that contains caffeine can make you pee more often because it's a diuretic which means that you'll be losing more fluid than you need to keep in your body.

So caffeinated coffee can actually cause you to dehydrate although if all you have is coffee and are thirsty then it's better to drink the coffee than drink nothing.

When I drink coffee I need to pee within about 15 to 20 minutes of drinking it so it would not keep me very hydrated.

Tea although caffeinated as well hydrates you better because tea contains less caffeine than coffee does.

Both coffee and tea are healthy for you although tea is more healthy for you than coffee.

Tea contains more antioxidants than coffee does which can help detox your body.

Tea is more hydrating than coffee as well.

Coffee can actually dehydrate you more than tea can and a nice cold glass of tea is a refreshing hydrating drink during the hot summer months.

Tea is much better for your kidneys as well.

Studies have shown that drinking tea on a daily basis lowers your risks of cancer and heart disease, improves weight loss and also boosts your bodies immune system which means that you can recover from viruses and other illnesses such as the flu and cold faster.

Coffee has been shown to help improve your heart health and may even prevent heart disease, heart attacks, strokes as well as warding off Parkinson's disease as well as type 2 diabetes, liver disease, and heart problems.
