Most fish do have bones.

However not all fish have bones like the Cartilaginous fishes which are fishes including sharks, rays and skates.

Sharks, rays and skates fish do not have any bones in them.

The bones of a fish are made of either cartilage (cartilaginous) or regular bone.

The fish that are edible and most commonly consumed by humans do contain fish bones so you need to remove the fish bones before eating them.

Also if you feed any fish to a toddler or young child be sure to remove the bones because the small bones in the fish can cause a choking hazard to children and toddlers if they eat the fish.

Also dogs can easily choke on fish bones but it's safe to feed cats fish bones.
