The national food of Norway is Mutton Stew.

Mutton Stew is the national dish of Norway and the Mutton Stew consists of cabbage and mutton which is layered in a big pot along with black peppercorns, salt (and, in some recipes, wheat flour to thicken the sauce), covered with water and simmered until the meat is very tender and Potatoes on the side.

Norwegians eat between 3 meals to 4 meals per day.

Just like most Americans Norwegians eat the traditional 3 meals per day which consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Although sometimes the Norwegians eat a 4th meal during the day but most Norwegians eat at least 3 meals per day but some may only eat 2 meals per day which is lunch and dinner.

The typical meals that Norwegians eat is a cold breakfast with coffee, a cold (usually packed) lunch at work and a hot dinner at home with the family.

Just like Americans may eat a breakfast, lunch and dinner but some Americans skip breakfast and just eat lunch and dinner.

Myself I'm in the USA and I eat breakfast which can either be oatmeal, cereal etc and have coffee, milk or orange juice.

Then I eat my lunch and then dinner when I get home.
