However you can order a macchiato as a cold drink or a hot drink.
If you want a cold macchiato you can tell the barista that you want the macchiato cold and they will make the macchiato cold.
But for a hot macchiato it usually comes that way.
I love my macchiato hot but tried it cold before on a hot summer day.
When it was hot outside the macchiato was pretty good cold but on cold winter days I love my macchiato hot.
