You can freeze soup that has potatoes in it.
However when you do freeze soup with potatoes in it the potatoes in the soup can become mushy and change texture.
The potatoes in the soup will still be safe to eat but it may not be as good tasting.
Freezing soup with potatoes is not recommended and instead just refrigerate it and eat it within a few days.
But sometimes I've frozen soup that had potatoes in it and although it was not as good to eat it was still okay to eat.
The potatoes will just take on a mushy texture and not be as good.
Potatoes that are not blanched first do not freeze well but you can still freeze them.
