Apple mold can be dangerous to your health if you do eat the mold on the apple.
However if you have a bit of mold on an apple and the rest of the apple is not moldy then you can cut off the moldy part of the apple and eat the rest of the apple.
If the apple is all the way moldy then throw the moldy apple out and don't eat it.
But there's no need to throw an entire apple away just because it has a slight bit of mold on it.
Just cut the moldy part of the apple off and throw the moldy part of the apple in the trash or compost pile and then eat the rest.
I've always just cut moldy parts off fruit including apples as well as vegetables and still ate the rest of the fruit or vegetables and nothing bad has happened to me or anyone else.
If you did happen to eat a bit of mold on an apple it's unlikely to harm you but you should never eat a lot of mold.
