One moldy strawberry can sometimes ruin the rest of the strawberries if you don't remove the moldy strawberry quick enough.

As soon as you notice the strawberry molding you should remove the moldy strawberry and check the other strawberries for any mold.

If there's just a little mold on the strawberry you can cut off the moldy part of the strawberry and eat the rest safely.

The moldy strawberry will usually only ruin the rest of the strawberries if you do not remove the moldy strawberry quick enough.

Strawberries are usually best eaten within a few days of buying them so that they do not have a chance to mold on you.

I only buy enough strawberries that I known I'm gonna eat within a few days and then buy some more when I need some more.

Most times I eat the strawberries well in advance of them having time to mold but sometimes one strawberry will start to mold and then I will remove the moldy strawberry when I notice it and the rest of the strawberries are fine.

A Strawberry is not A berry although it has berry in it's name.

Strawberries are known as a false fruit, a pseudocarp which is a multiple fruit that consists of many tiny individual fruits that are embedded in a fleshy receptacle.

Strawberries are not a seedless fruit but the seed of a strawberry is not exactly in the fruit like other fruits seeds are.

A strawberry is actually a multiple fruit which consists of many tiny individual fruits embedded in a fleshy receptacle.

The brownish or whitish specks, which are commonly considered seeds, are the true fruits, called achenes, and each of them surrounds a tiny seed.

The strawberry is a widely grown hybrid species of the genus Fragaria, collectively known as the strawberries, which are cultivated worldwide for their fruit.

The fruit is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness.

Strawberries are very healthy for you and can protect your heart, increase HDL (good) cholesterol, lower your blood pressure, and guard against cancer.

Packed with vitamins, fiber, and particularly high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols, strawberries are a sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, low-calorie food.

Strawberries are a great addition to a weight loss diet.

They're low in calories, highly nutritious, and a great source of important nutrients like fiber.

They're also incredibly versatile and can be incorporated into many recipes.

Strawberries and raspberries aren't really berries in the botanical sense.

They are derived from a single flower with more than one ovary, making them an aggregate fruit.

True berries are simple fruits stemming from one flower with one ovary and typically have several seeds.

Surprisingly, eggplants, tomatoes and avocados are botanically classified as berries.

And the popular strawberry is not a berry at all.

Botanists call the strawberry a "false fruit," a pseudocarp.
