Before eating scallops the scallops should be fully cooked.

If you eat undercooked scallops there could be bacteria that can make you sick so it's best to not eat the scallops if they are undercooked.

Especially for pregnant women they should always make sure any seafood or scallops are fully cooked to kill any bacteria that could make you or the unborn baby sick.

Ensure that the scallops or any other seafood is fully cooked before eating them to avoid the potential of getting sick from it.

You can potentially get food poisoning from eating scallops that are not fully cooked.

So while you can eat scallops undercooked you really should not do so because it's not worth risking your health.

If the scallops are not fully cooked then cook them some more until they are fully cooked before eating them.
