The origin of cinnamon rolls is both Sweden and Denmark.
Denmark and Sweden is where cinnamon rolls originated from and then later the USA and other countries and places started eating and making cinnamon rolls.
A Cinnamon roll is a sweet roll that is served commonly in Northern Europe and North America.
In Sweden the cinnamon roll is called kanelbulle, in Denmark the cinnamon roll is known as kanelsnegl, in Norway the cinnamon roll is known as Skillingsboller, Kanelbolle and Kanelsnurr, and in Finland the cinnamon roll is known as korvapuusti and is a form of Viennese bread.
So while most people in the USA do not really think of cinnamon rolls as bread the cinnamon roll is really a type of bread that is sweet to eat.
I love cinnamon rolls and a lot of other people do too.
