Yes beetroot juice can turn your urine red.
If you are drinking beetroot juice the pigments in the beetroot juice and beets can make your urine turn red in color.
This is normal and nothing to worry about.
Even eating beets can make your urine turn red and as long as the red urine clears up after a day or so of eating beets or drinking beetroot juice then you are okay.
If your urine continues to stay red even when not eating beets or drinking beetroot juice then you may have a bladder infection that should be checked out by a doctor.
But it's normal to have red urine after eating beets or drinking beetroot juice.
The same is true for some other red foods or red drinks.
