Yes eggs are a low glycemic food.

Eggs have a really low glycemic index and because of that they do not affect blood glucose levels.

Not only are eggs a low glycemic food the eggs are also a satiating food which means that the eggs can also reduce your caloric intake, which may consequently help to improve your bodies glycemic control.

So if you're diabetic and need to watch your blood glucose levels then eating eggs is okay.

Eggs are a good healthy food in moderation and contain protein and calcium as well which can help build strong bones and may even prevent Osteoporosis.

People with weak or brittle bones can and should eat eggs and drink milk if they are not allergic to them because they can help keep the bones strong.
