The difference between freezer bags and storage bags is that freezer bags are thicker than storage bags and are also more durable.

The freezer bags are thicker to help withstand the cold temperatures and expansion of the frozen food when the food is frozen in the freezer bags.

Freezer bags and storage bags are similar but the difference really between freezer bags and storage bags is that freezer bags are thicker and the storage bags are thinner.

You can freeze food in a regular storage bag but the freezer bags are better for long term freezing of foods.

You can reuse freezer bags and Ziploc bags as many times as you want too as long as you wash the freezer bags or Ziploc bags out between reuse.

I usually can get at least 100 uses out of one Ziploc bag before it wears out.

So as long as the Ziploc bag or freezer bag has not worn out you can reuse it until it does.

Reusing freezer bags or Ziploc bags helps keep them out of the landfill and saves you money.

There's no need to throw the Ziploc bag or freezer bag out after one use like some people do.

I save money by washing out the freezer bags and Ziploc bags and using them over and over until they wear out.
