Smoker grills require charcoal to be added every 2 hours.
When using a smoker grill to smoke meats you check the smoker every 30 to 40 minutes and then you need to add charcoal to the smoker every 1 hour and 30 minutes to every 2 hours.
I only need to add charcoal to my smoker grill every 2 hours when it needs it.
I always check the smoker grill every 30 minutes to ensure it's still smoking the meat properly.
But I only need to put more charcoal in the smoker grill every 2 hours.
Sometimes during the smoking process of the meat you may need to adjust the airflow as well.
The smoker requires little work to keep the food smoking and cooking but you still need to keep an eye on it and ensure it is still smoking the meat.
