Most Charcoal burns for around 1 hour to 2 hours at most in a smoker.

You may need to add more charcoal to the smoker and relight it every 1 hour to 2 hours to keep the temperature up in the smoker grill.

I recommend checking the charcoal in the smoker every 30 minutes to 40 minutes to ensure the charcoal is still burning properly.

If not you may need to add some lighting fluid to the charcoal and even some wood on top to keep the charcoal going.

Smoker grills require charcoal to be added every 2 hours.

When using a smoker grill to smoke meats you check the smoker every 30 to 40 minutes and then you need to add charcoal to the smoker every 1 hour and 30 minutes to every 2 hours.

I only need to add charcoal to my smoker grill every 2 hours when it needs it.

I always check the smoker grill every 30 minutes to ensure it's still smoking the meat properly.

But I only need to put more charcoal in the smoker grill every 2 hours.

Sometimes during the smoking process of the meat you may need to adjust the airflow as well.

The smoker requires little work to keep the food smoking and cooking but you still need to keep an eye on it and ensure it is still smoking the meat.
