In a non stick pan you do not need to use any cooking oil.
However if your food calls for cooking oil such as frying potatoes, fish etc then you can safely use the cooking oil in the non stick pan and the non stick pan will be just fine.
I only use cooking oil in my non stick pans when I need too such as when I cook fish, cook potatoes, Salmon etc.
But for anything else such as eggs, pancakes etc I do not use cooking oil in the non stick pan.
Just don't get the cooking oil too hot for too long as it may harm the non stick pan.
But as long as you don't overheat the pan with the cooking oil and keep the stove on low heat then the cooking oil should not damage your non stick pan.
Cooking oil for some foods is not required in a non stick pan while other foods will require cooking oil to cook properly.
And if you need to use cooking oil in the non stick pan you can safely do so.
