Sausages can be cooked from frozen either in the frying pan, on the grill or the oven.

I prefer to thaw the frozen sausages first and then cook them because it takes less time and I make sure that all the sausage is cooked evenly.

When cooking frozen sausage it can take longer to cook them all the way and you might have some cold spots inside the sausage.

But as long as you cook them long enough they should cook all the way.

You can thaw the frozen sausages overnight or for 24 hours prior to cooking them by placing them in the refrigerator.

Take the frozen sausages out of the freezer and place them in the refrigerator 24 hours before you plan to cook them.

Then they will be thawed and ready to cook and will cook faster and much better.

The time it takes to defrost sausage depends on how you defrost them.

If you defrost the sausages in the refrigerator it takes around 24 hours from the time you remove them from the freezer.

You can remove the frozen sausage from the freezer and place them in the refrigerator and after 24 hours the frozen sausages should be thawed out.

You could also place the frozen sausage in a plastic container or plastic bag and place them in a hot bowl of water.

The hot water will help to thaw them out.

Or just put the frozen sausage in the microwave and thaw them out using the defrost setting on the microwave and then defrost the sausage for 20 to 30 minutes.

Keep an eye on the sausage because the power of microwaves vary and it may take a bit longer or a bit less than 20 or 30 minutes to thaw the frozen sausage.
