Scallions are good for you and they contain Vitamin K and other nutrients and minerals that are needed for healthy.

Scallions are low in calories and only have small trace amounts of fat and the scallions are also very low in cholesterol levels.

Scallions are a good food especially when you are on a diet or are just losing weight in general.

Eating scallions has also been shown to help reduce the risk of blood clots as well so that is another health benefit of eating scallions.

Scallions which are green onions can be eaten either raw or cooked and the scallions go good with a lot of things such as on sandwiches, in soups, stews, chili etc.

Scallions are vegetables derived from various species in the genus Allium.

Scallions have a milder taste than most onions.

Their close relatives include garlic, shallot, leek, chive, and Chinese onions.

Scallions and green onions are literally the same thing.

Spring onions, on the other hand, are a different thing.

The bulb of a spring onion is much larger, compared to the small, not-so-bulbous scallion.

Most scallions (and green onions) never grow true bulbs.

The ends of the stalks stay small.
