Dry white wine and white cooking wine are not the same but they are similar and you can use either of them for cooking.

But the white cooking wine is the best when ti come too cooking foods that call for white cooking wine in the recipe.

If you use the dry white wine then the food may not turn out as good.

I would recommend using some white cooking wine and purchasing some if you have none.

The dry white wine can be used for cooking just like any other wine can be used for cooking with but the white cooking wine is the best when it comes to making foods that require wine.
