Yes you can eat raw mung beans.

Mung beans can be eaten either raw or cooked and they are healthy both ways.

Most people prefer to cook the mung beans before eating them because they are much easier to digest and much more enjoyable when cooked.

But if you want to eat raw mung beans it's okay to do so.

Both raw and mung beans are healthy and are high in folate, iron and protein which makes them healthy even for pregnant women as pregnant woman need more of those minerals and nutrients.

If you cook mung beans on the stove it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to fully cook them but in a slow cooker it can take 8 hours.
